These terms govern use of the Marble & Linen website and communications connected with our physical Australian restaurant and card lounge. They apply when you browse venue information, make an enquiry, or otherwise communicate with Marble & Linen about restaurant visits, private gatherings, the card lounge, or offline poker experiences held in person at the venue.

Enquiries and venue communications

Enquiries are requests for contact

Website forms, email messages, and telephone calls are enquiries only. They do not by themselves confirm a restaurant visit, table, private gathering, card-lounge attendance, or any other venue arrangement. Any arrangement is subject to Marble & Linen’s direct response and current availability. Please wait for a clear response from the venue before treating an enquiry as settled, and provide enough context for us to understand whether your question relates to the restaurant, a private gathering, or the physical card lounge.

Accurate and respectful communications

When making an enquiry, please provide accurate contact details and communicate respectfully. Marble & Linen may need to ask for further information before responding, particularly where a message does not identify the kind of visit or venue experience being considered. We ask that communications remain clear, relevant, and considerate of staff time. Messages that are inappropriate, misleading, unlawful, or deliberately disruptive may not receive a response. We only seek information that is reasonably useful for understanding and replying to your enquiry.

Changes to venue information

Marble & Linen maintains website information with care, but menus, programming, opening arrangements, and venue details can change as the physical venue operates. If a detail matters to your planned visit, please confirm it directly with Marble & Linen before attending. This is especially useful for restaurant visits, private gatherings, card-lounge enquiries, and poker evenings. Our venue is located at 18 Oxford Street, Paddington NSW 2021, Australia.

In-venue conduct and card lounge

Shared venue environment

Marble & Linen aims to maintain a respectful and comfortable environment for guests, staff, and neighbours at its physical restaurant venue in Paddington, NSW. Visitors are asked to follow reasonable staff directions connected with safety, comfort, and day-to-day venue operation. Behaviour that is disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or materially uncomfortable for others may result in an individual being asked to leave. This approach is intended to protect a calm shared environment rather than to impose unnecessary formality on a visit.

Offline poker and poker tables

Card-lounge activity takes place in person at Marble & Linen’s real offline poker lounge. Visitors using the poker tables are expected to follow host or staff directions and to contribute to respectful, considerate table conduct. Where a physical venue format such as Texas Hold’em is presented, it is part of the on-site card-lounge experience and should be approached with the same regard for fellow participants, staff, and the space. Any chips present are physical table props. Please do not disrupt play, crowd tables, or use the card lounge in a way that compromises comfort or safety.

The card lounge, poker tables, and poker evenings are physical, venue-based experiences conducted in person.

Age, identification, and entry requirements

Entry, participation, and service at Marble & Linen may be subject to applicable law, reasonable venue requirements, and staff requests for identification where appropriate. These measures support a safe and lawful environment for guests and staff. Please cooperate with reasonable requests made in connection with access to the restaurant, card lounge, or poker tables. Nothing in these terms creates a right of entry where venue staff reasonably determine that access or participation should not proceed.
